Due to the success and popularity of online tuition with students and parents, all lessons are now online. As a fully qualified teacher with over thirteen years of experience teaching in state and independent schools and six years of experience working as an examiner and tutor, I use my expertise to help students achieve their full potential. I provide interactive online classes for KS3 Science, GCSE Biology, Chemistry & Physics and  A-Level Biology & Chemistry students.

Online tuition will take place using Zoom meetings. The application is free to all students. 

Please download Zoom on your laptop/PC (if you do not have it already):

1. Go to https://zoom.us/download 

Click on the Download button under “Zoom Client for Meetings”. 

2. The Zoom app will download - follow instructions to instal Zoom.

3. Please add science123tutor@gmail.com to your list of contacts (click on button below 'How to add a contact on Zoom')

4. Just before a lesson is due to start, the student will be invited to join a Zoom meeting via the Zoom app. (or email).

5. The lesson will proceed as normal where the student(s) and I will be free to interact with one another.

6.  Notes will be given where appropriate. Please remember, all notes are my intellectual property and as such they are for the student who has paid for the tuition only. Therefore, they may not be shared with others in any way what so ever.

• This will help you to understand how the lessons will work.
• And help us to establish mutual trust with face-to-face interaction.

3.  If we are happy to proceed further, we will agree a suitable slot.

• Once a slot is agreed, I will provide my bank account details. 

• Tuition fee will depend on whether it is ‘Guaranteed 1-2-1 tuition’ or group tuition. 

• Fee must be paid IMMEDIATELY after the lesson.

 Failure to pay tuition fee on time may result in the student losing her/his slot. 

• Student/parent will not be charged if the lesson does not take place.

• An alternative slot will be offered.

• If the lesson was only partially taught, a refund will be made pro rata. For example, if a lesson is for 1.5 hours and the tuition for 1 hour was fine but then technical issues surfaced, then the student/parent will be charged for 1 hour and the remaining fee will be refunded.  Alternatively, the lost time will be made up after the lesson or at another time.
