Most students and parents appreciate that subject knowledge is essential to achieving top grades, however few comprehend the importance of using good exam techniques. Knowing how to make an answer relevant, precise and concise is the key to gaining top marks in exams; it has become even more important with the current specifications.
As an experienced examiner, I look at the pit-falls of poor exam techniques and teach students how to avoid common mistakes and how to perfect their answers.

. The part when we went through each command word and did the exams questions for it (was very useful) as it helped me understand what the question is asking from me and gave me a wider understanding of what I need to include in my answer. Yes - (I would recommend) this course it is very helpful in terms of understanding what each type of question wants from you and the graph model answers were very good as it will ensure we get all the marks.
